Sorry for the delay: our internet connection has been off for almost a week. We've had it back this afternoon.

I would be glad to play on Thursday afternoon (for you)/evening (for me). Would it be possible to begin our match at 5:00 PM ET (9:00 PM here in France)? So would I be sure that my kids are in bed.

Currently my time zone is 6 hrs behind Paris time. The earliest I can game is 4:15 pm ET which would be 10:15 pm Paris time.

I am trying to arrange my match J 10 match with Vlad on Thursday but that will only be set if he can game when I am available on that day.

If he cannot, then we can game on Thursday at the time listed above.

My bad: I did not do the math correctly.
Playing that late will be a little problem for me during week days: with a two-month old baby, nights are quite short before I have to wake up for work.
Therefore, could it be possible to play on Saturday, around 8:00 AM (New York time)?

Here are the results:

Game 1 / My Allies start out with a weak hand as my 5 cards only have a total of 7 orders. I must be patient and hope for good draws before I can rush forward anywhere. But the panzers move up and are well placed and soon I lose 2 of my tanks before I kill off one SWAT infantry in the town. I have AMBUSH but it does me no good. Then a key moment occurs when a German TFH does not yield any orders. This is a huge break for me and a few turns later I attack the German left and knock out a 1 fig SWAT infantry and a 3 fig panzer with only 3 dice. Once again luck smiles on me. A turn later AIR POWER kills off a 1 fig panzer in the center and a turn after that I pick off a 1 fig infantry on the German left which clears that flank. I lead 5 to 2. I then advance my infantry in the center with MOVE OUT and INF ASSAULT. The last German panzer moves over to help out in the center but is killed off with the help of my TFH which orders 4 units. A turn later BEL helps me eliminate a 1 fig SWAT on the German baseline.

The hit pct was 45 to 39 pct in my favor but I got off twice as many shots. The failed German TFh was certainly the key here.

Game 2 / I lose an infantry on my right early on. The battle then shifts to my left and center. Allied infantry moves up but is decimated. An Allied TFH orders three units and cause some damage to my infantry. But within a few turns I finish off four weak units in the center to lead 5 to 1. A few turns later I reduce two more infantry in the center to 1 fig units. But my plan to finish off those units it ruined by two of my panzers being killed off. But my right infantry moves out of the woods and eliminates one of the 1 fig infantry to lead 6 to 3. A turn later my AMBUSH kills off another 1 fig infantry to win.

The hit pct was in my favor again by a 45 to 37 margin and I got off 20 more shots.

A very one side match as the luck was with me today. Monsieur B did the best that he could under the conditions.
