Well, much like my last match with Monsieur Miniatures, a battle for the Top 4 it would appear and to stay in contention and near the top.

I can play, if needed, most days at either 15h30-16h00 or perhaps 21h30-22h00, all times Paris time.

I do not work on Thurs-Fri-Sat of each week and can also play Sun as I do not work until 05h00 Paris time.

Let me know what might work for you and I will try to fit in our match.  Great showing after 4 matches for you and will see how things stand after 5 matches!

Well, based on the scores, a fitting tie, though I think GG had much better chances as the Allies in Game 1 to have gotten a better score.  33 turns, not as long as some others have played and told myself that if I could, move the ARTY off the baseline on 1st turn in the event foe had A/P and at least flag would maybe not hurt....wrong, left it there and GG played that his 1st turn and was 1-2 and put the pressure on early.  He also got 2-2 on ARM on the road, even more pressure.

From there, he eventually got the ARTY on 2-7 shooting, but not before I jumped ahead 4-0.  He was aggressive on his RIGHT flank and I got the 2 units that moved up and then got the unit in STRAINCHAMPS, 4-0 and looking good though I had a 1 fig ARTY and 1 fig ARM. He never did kill the 1 fig ARM, did get the full strength one just before I could play ARM ASLT and of course the ARTY and 6-2 game for me.  Dice were 26-55 and 14-38 and my 26-55, 47% on INF.

Game 2 was 27 turns and GG started strong in the CENTER and then moved over to his LEFT and moved forward skillfully.  Except for 2 early cards in the CENTER, I had mostly FLANK cards from turn 5, 2-2-2 and ART BOMB the exceptions and was tough to get hits much less kills. Had to come forward and try to get a kill on my left, his ARM and did eventually get it for kill #1 and then got a lucky finish, a flag to get me to my RIGHT and got the 2nd kill for the tie.  GG made a good move to protect a 1 fig INF just before I played BEL and I thought he had the game and match, but he couldn't kill my 2 fig INF and then took ground to the EXIT after killing my other INF and that move allowed my INF to take the flag and move to the FLANK I needed to play a card and get that 2nd kill, otherwise he would have won 1-6.   Dice were 11-28, 24-58 and he was 24-56, 43% on INF.

Enjoyable match, 2 pts each and no harm done to either and now about 4-5 of us grouped together and fighting to stay near the top and seems like there is no stopping Drexxer and probably no need to worry about him since another 4-0 win or 2 and he will be advancing!!

Tough scenario for the ALLIES, but that is what makes M'44 and COOL what it is, trying to get that hard to get win when odds against you!!
