I met Vince_76 on the filed of battle today and here is the report:

Game 1

tank commander (Axis) 6 (24) to Vince_76 (Allies) 4 (21)

Three Brit units moved forward and got off single shots and I moved up panzer from my right and fired back with little damage done to either side. The four Brit infantry then went into cover. I tried INFANTRY ASSAULT in the center with 5 units but only got 2 hits. The battle raged in the center with the Brits getting the upper hand by killing off three of my infantry for the loss of only 1 Brit infantry. Later a Brit FIREFIGHT would kill off another of my infantry and I trailed 1 to 4. I finally got my panzer into action and finished off a 2 fig Brit infantry. A turn later the panzer on my right got into the action with the support of an infantry and the artillery. I eliminated two Brit infantry as they closed in one of the exit hexes. This swung the battle in my favor. A turn later both my panzers would fire 1d shots on 1 fig infantry and kill off both for the win. I was really in trouble in this game after going down 1 to 4 and was very fortunate to come out with a victory here.

Game 2

Early on I eliminated the panzer on my left. A short time later I also killed off an infantry on my left in the factory and another in the center. A German BEL wiped out a 2 fig German infantry and then moved into the church medal hex with BEL which tied the score at 3. I spent the next two turns killing off the German 3 fig infantry in the church. Of greater interest was that of a 1 fig infantry I had next to the German artillery in the factory. The German guns missed it with a 3d attack and my Battleback got a hit on the guns. I then used AIR POWER to eliminated the 1 fig arty. This was a huge difference in the game and now the German right flank was vacant and gave me a 5 to 2 lead. I still had a 1 fig infantry and 2 fig infantry on the board but for the time being they were safe from attack. The last German panzer (after being hit once) got off a 1d attack on a fig AT infantry but missed. I then moved up one infantry and it got off a 1d attack on a 1 fig infantry which hit. Losing the artillery made for a very tough end game situation for Vince.
